HOT READS FOR THE PRACTITIONER

Title:  The Very Best New Year’s Resolution You Can Make

Competency:  managing self

Who benefits: you

Consultant Usage: important book for health and wellness consultants, some hr professionals, possible reference book for executive coaches

What’s it about? The holiday season is winding down.  Whew!  Symbolically the work year is just about over.  Stress levels still high?  Well, maybe you can kick back and enjoy a long weekend.  Just remember to turn off all electronic devises for at least a few hours.

This is also that silly weekend when we make all those threats to ourselves about what we are going to differently next year.  Good luck on that.  You may remember a post I made this time last year giving the (long) odds of keeping a New Year’s resolution.

But if you insist on making one, why not give yourself a gift.  An important gift.  Give yourself the gift of health.  Consider a book written for someone like you and your organization: Managing Executive Health: Personal and Corporate Strategies for Sustained Success.

If you have ended this year feeling stressed, not giving your best performance at work, if you have concerns about your physical health and psychological well-being, please consider reading this book.  It could be the gift of a lifetime.

If you are a part of a health and wellness group or committee, this book is a “must have.”

Wishing you good health and a Happy New Year!

Catch you next year.
