Free Coaching Exercise: Identifying My Mentors

February 11, 2015 by Ken Nowack

This free exercise, and dozens of others, were created for our book, Clueless: Coaching People Who Just Don’t Get It. You can learn more about Clueless by visiting our site or you can buy it from amazon.com today.

Purpose of Exercise: To help clients identify insight or learning contributed by mentors.

How to Administer and Use this Exercise to Facilitate Behavior Change: As we help our clients through a behavioral change program, it’s important to help them identify the people that support them. In fact its very common for individuals to overlook the mentors and support structures they have.

This exercise facilitates awareness in clients by helping them identify the individuals in their professional and personal lives that have had a meaningful influence in order to help them in their progress of behavioral change.
