As the week winds down, we wind down with some tidbits for your information, education, health, and enjoyment.
Quote of the Week: “Those who agree with us may not be right, but we admire their astuteness.” Cullen Hightower
Humor Break: “I don’t necessarily agree with everything I say.” Â Marshall McLuhan
Stat of the Week: Workers who said they had high levels of social support from their colleagues were likely to live longer. No “stat†was given but the researchers were adamant that good peer relationships at work were very likely to extend your life. So be nice!
Action Tip: Make a habit of finding one co-worker each day and give him/her a “sincere praiseâ€. A sincere praise includes something specific that the co-workers did to make your job a little easier, or the team or organization a little better. It’s a good habit to learn.
Volunteering: Co-workers can be a pain in the rear end. A much more serious pain is in the back. June is National Scoliosis Month. Scoliosis affects 2-3% of the population, or an estimated 6 million people in the United States, and there is no cure. Learn more.Â

love the cartoon and also the points you make. While there is humor here, and little real data, I believe the STAT of the week, (minus the stats of course), and try to practice the Action Tip. Thanks Bill.
