HOT READS FOR THE PRACTITIONER

Title: Six Keys to Being Excellent at Anything

Competencies: achievement orientation, self-development

Who benefits: you, children, grandchildren

Consultant Usage: great resource for coaching and performance management

What’s it about? I know that many of you faithful readers look at my posts and wistfully sigh and think to yourselves “Oh how I wish I had time to read that recommendation.”  I appreciate the thought and understand the dilemma.

Today, however, there is no excuse.  I am recommending a 5-minute read.  A short blog posting.  Five minutes to a better YOU.  You can do this one before you start your work today.  Or use 1/3 of a break.  Or skip dessert tonight and read the posting (that would be a win-win situation).  Share it with the family.

If you are in management, consider sharing it with direct reports.

And if you feel the need to read more (not a requirement), at the bottom of his post the author lists five books to support his six-steps.

What are you waiting for?  Click the link!

Catch you later.
